Manual Balancing Valves
Wireless technology for easy balancing

Wireless technology for easy balancing

Balancing installations is a complicated procedure. Some valves need to be measured several times and if you use the proportional balancing method you have to measure the same valve again and again.
With the PFM4000 wireless measuring device measuring the valve is much easier and if you have an index valve you need to measur often you can use 2 devices at the same time, reducing your legwork significantly.
PFM 4000 is a system for measuring of flow and performing hydronic balancing in heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems. PFM 4000 can also be used for measuring of pressure and temperature.
The PFM 4000 system includes a main pressure unit, which is connected to the valve, and a computing unit. The main pressure unit is measuring flow, pressure and temperature and transmitting the collected data to the computing unit.

PFM 4000 comes in two versions:
• PFM 4000 Standard, with wireless Bluetooth connection (up to 20 m transmission range)
• PFM 4000 Multisource, with wireless radio transmission (up to 30 transmission range, expandable to 300 m with routers)
Features:
• Separate computing unit and main pressure unit (installer does not have to be close to the valve when measuring)
• PFM 4000 Standard, simple flow measuring
• PFM 4000 Multisource, proportional method easily carried out by one person
• computing unit enables editing and back-up of data on PC (bluetooth connection between PDA and PC)
• Multi language
• Short circuit on main pressure unit
• Data recording (1 sec and up to 24 hours, computing unit and pressure unit does not have to be connected)
• Software computing unit (recorded data can be moved to Excel sheet)
• Projects
PFM 4000 contains data for all Danfoss balancing valves as well as for valves from Cimberio, Comap, Esbe, Heimeier, Herz, Honeywell, Oras, Oventrop, Quitus, TA Hydronics and others.
