Manual Balancing Valves
Easy installation

Easy installation

Space in buildings is costly and therefore installations need to fit in the smallest area possible. Consequently mounting the installation can be hard because there is simply no room to manoever. The LENO™ MSV-BD balancing valve is designed with limited spaces in mind to facilitate easy mounting.
Compact
The LENO™ is very compact and uses the minimum amount of space. This can be very important because often you need to be able to turn the valve around to install it in the pipe. Should you need still more space the handle of the LENO™ MSV-BD can be dismounted very easily, reducing the cross-section of the valve even more.

Installation prerequisites
Traditional manual balancing valves need to be installed in straight pipe. Usually you would need to have a length of straight pipe equal to 5 times the diameter of the pipe upstream. Downstream you'd need at least 2 times the diameter. This is needed to guarantee the acuracy of measuring the flow which is normally influenced by turbulence. Because in the LENO™ the flow direction is not changed like in a traditional valve, the flow through the valve is symmetrical in all directions and the measurment is not influenced by turbulence of other components.

That means the LENO™ can be mounted in any stretch of pipe, for example just before or after an elbow or pipe-joint. This will not influence the accuracy of measuring in any way. That means you can mount the LENO™ in any spot that is convenient and still enjoy the exceptionally high measuring accuracy.
