Rotating measuring nipplesBalancing valves are sometimes mounted in tight spots. As a result it's not always that easy to reach the measuring nipples and connect the measuring device so you can set the flow.
Danfoss mounted the measuring nipples of the LENO™ MSV-BD on a rotating measuring station. The measuring nipples can rotate 360º so you can always find a position that enables you to access them easily. Additionally the setting of the valve can be read from all angles so you don't need a mirror anymore to see the position it's set in when the valve is mounted close to the ceiling, for example.
Easy lockingLocking the LENO™ MSV-BD is extremely easy: Just press the handle and the setting is locked. For convenience the MSV-BD is shipped with a disposable allen key to easily unlock the valve again. If you are certain no adjustments of the setting are needed anymore, just remove the green key and the LENO™ can only be released with an allen key.
If you want more certainty that the setting will not be tampered with you can insert a tie wrap (accessory) in a slot in the handle. This will make it impossible to unlock the valve without cutting through the tie-wrap. If the valve is unlocked anyway, it will be immediately visible by means of the damaged tie wrap.
Danfoss also supplies a label (accessory) that can be attached to the handle. On this label the measured flow and setting can be written down.
